11.5 Actions Related to Rezoning the Real Property Located on the Northeast Corner of North First Street and Matrix Boulevard.
(a) Certify the Environmental Impact Report for the Bay 101 Casino and Mixed Use Project, and adopt a resolution making certain findings concerning significant environmental impacts, mitigation measures and alternatives, adopting a mitigation monitoring and reporting program, and adopting a statement of overriding considerations, all in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act.
(b) Consideration of an ordinance rezoning the real property located on the northeast corner of North First Street and Matrix Boulevard (1740 North First Street) from the CG Commercial Zoning District to the CG(PD) Planned Development Zoning District to allow the uses of the CG Commercial General Zoning District, including a relocated cardroom (Bay 101) on a 19.4 gross acre site (Bumb & Associates Et Al, Owner).
CEQA: Bay 101 Casino and Mixed Use Project Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to be considered for certification and adoption. Planning Commission recommends approval (6-0-1). (Planning, Building and Code Enforcement)
