(a) Approve an award to purchase Cardiac and Automatic External Defibrillators to Physio-Control, Inc. (Redmond, WA) for a total cost not to exceed $1,521,792, including equipment accessories, five-year maintenance and support service, wireless transmission technology; training, testing, delivery, and sales tax, and authorize the City Manager to execute the purchase order.

(b) Authorize the City Manager to execute purchase orders as required for ongoing maintenance and support and purchase additional quantities of Cardiac and Automatic External Defibrillator equipment, subject to the appropriation of funds.
