(d) Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District to convert the second floor office space at the Mexican Heritage Plaza to classrooms and operate during the 2010-2011 school year. (a) Adopt a resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Taxiway W Reconstruction Project at the Norman Y. Mineta San José International Airport and to either: (i) award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in an amount not to exceed $8,500,000, contingent upon award and execution of an Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Grant from the Federal Aviation Administration; or (ii) reject all bids and re-bid the Project.

(a) Authorizing the Executive Director to execute a First Amendment to the Ground Lease encumbering the 101 San Fernando Residential Apartment Project to allow the early exercise of an option by Essex San Fernando, L.P., (Essex) a California limited partnership, to purchase the real property underlying such Ground Lease from the Redevelopment Agency for a purchase price of $4,500,000,

(b) Authorizing the Executive Director to execute the Grant Deed transferring such real property to Essex and to negotiate and execute such additional documents as may be necessary to close escrow, and,

(c) Approving the assignment of the Multifamily Housing Revenue Refunding Bonds to Essex and authorizing the Executive Director to execute such additional documents as necessary to accomplish the transfer. CEQA: Not a project. [CENTURY CENTER]
